Oxygen Therapy Training  

Comprehensive 2 hour Oxygen Therapy training course  
Audiences range from first aiders through to dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals. 
The course is designed for First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to be able to administer oxygen safely and effectively, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but feel their skills need updating.  
This course is often combined with the Automated External Defibrillator course and is ideal for first aiders working in nursing homes, businesses with emergency oxygen for first aid purposes or industries where there is a risk of dangerous fume inhalation, chemicals or where the risk is assessed as high. 
Training is delivered by a qualified Paramedic and Resuscitation Council (UK) Instructor 
The training is based on resources from the British Thoracic Society and the Resuscitation Council (UK) 
All our courses on completion, award the candidate a certificate which counts towards verifiable CPD requirements.  
This course can be combined with any of our courses, Basic Life Support and/or AED Training

Importance of oxygen 
Equipment used in the delivery of oxygen to a casualty 
Use of the equipment 
When and how to use oxygen 
Contraindications to the use of oxygen 
Review of procedures in the event of an incident
