Nannies, Child Carers, Au Pairs, Teachers,Nursery Staff,Parents and Grandparents- If you are working in an early years setting, or if you are a nanny or Au pair looking after babies/infants or young children you will need to have a valid paediatric first aid certificate. This certificate needs to cover the essentials of baby/infant and child first aid.
Level Two Award in Paediatric First Aid (2 day)
This course is designed to meet the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets Ofsted requirements.
This qualification is based on the Ofsted guidelines for people who work with, or look after children to enable them to have a good basic knowledge of how to deal with emergency first aid situations involving children.
The course is for any person interested in learning about anaphylaxis and its emergency management. It is ideal for those that support or work with children such as school/Pre-school staff, nursery staff, nannies, Au-pairs and parents or those who may support an child with anaphylaxis or those that have the potential to suffer from such an emergency.
